Mark has been carving for going on 4 years. He carves full time at his country home in Carbonado, WA near Mt. Rainier. Mark currently has inventory at Snoqualmie Depot in Snoqualmie WA, Elkhead Brewery in Buckley and also Bear in a Box in Allyn! Mark is a Pro-Carver by winning semi pro at Ocean Shores Echo cup qualifier in 2007. His specialty is a range of wildlife sculptures, Sport fish, Upper end Benches and of course, Bears! Also, his son of 15 yrs, Colby Herrington, is an upcoming carver as well!
Colby Herrington, SEMI-PRO

Colby is in his 2nd official year of being a Carver at the age of 15. Taking lessons from his Dad, Mark Herrington, he’s a quick and upcoming artist! He’s traveled to all the shows and now instead of a rake, he’s got a saw in his hands. Last year at Ocean Shores he placed 4th while at his first official show! His specialties include owls, bears and fish. Colby is in the Semi-Pro division for now….but look out as he’s quick on the heels to saw ya up!
Davey Gagne – PRO

Davey Gagne is a self-taught carver and has been carving and competing for 8 years. Davey has earned two First Place, and the People’s Choice award at Reedsport, and a Third place award at Sedro Woolley. Davey also placed 2nd, 4th, and 5th at Westport, plus many “Quick Carve” awards over the years. He is a retired Bull Rider, a full time carpenter by trade and he loves to compete in several Chainsaw Sculpture Contests each year and getting together with fellow carvers. Davey does a lot of custom carving, as well as his specialties of Salmon, Bears, Eagles, and wonderful Benches.

Lance has been carving for over 4 years supporting his wife and two girls of 5 and 2 years old. He lives on two acres on beautiful Harstine Island . He holds a B.A. in music performance on saxophone and currently plays bagpipes with the Olympia Highlanders. He carves regularly and has a permanent display of his work at the Olympic Bakery on Pickering Rd off of Hwy 3 just 10 minutes outside of Shelton, WA.
